Virtual Release of the 2023 Report on the Condition of Career Readiness in the United States
virtual
Our country faces a very real and growing skills gap, and closing it demands that today’s youth gain the skills necessary to meet tomorrow’s workforce needs. To combat this dire situation, we must continually assess our career readiness policies and practices to ensure they are both meeting local and regional workforce needs and advancing economic and social mobility for all workers.
On May 14, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm ET, American Student Assistance® (ASA) President and CEO Jean Eddy and South Central College President Dr. Annette Parker will host the Virtual Release of the 2023 Report on the Condition of Career Readiness in the United States.
Produced for the Coalition for Career Development (CCD) Center under the leadership of Dr. V. Scott Solberg by the Boston University Wheelock Center for Future Readiness, the 2023 report; State Map on Career Readiness Policies, Resources, and Performance; and other supplementary materials illustrate how cross-sector consensus can make career readiness the first priority of American education and workforce development.
