Quality Assurance Guidelines for National Industry Certification Bodies
Developed by a CCD Center committee of leading industry experts, this report, Quality Assurance Guidelines for National Industry Certification Bodies, contains 12 rigorous industry guidelines (see pp. 7-8). These will help students, schools, and companies distinguish between the relatively small number of high quality, nationally portable industry certification bodies--that truly represent entire industries or large occupations--and the thousands of “industry related credentials” in circulation today. These CCD Guidelines help students, schools and companies select those certifications that have the greatest value in their chosen career pathways.
