Hello NCDA!
I’m excited to invite you to the 2026 NCDA Global Career Development Conference from June 30 to July 2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This year's theme is Creative Resilience: Integrating Dynamic Solutions in Career Development.
Creativity is often associated with artists and performers, but at its core, it’s about problem-solving, innovation, and adaptability. In the face of rapid change across the workforce, career professionals must apply creativity to design effective interventions, support diverse populations, and reimagine traditional practices.
Creativity also fuels resilience, helping us adapt, grow, and thrive amid challenges — a concept beautifully reflected in our host city. Known as the City of Lakes, Minneapolis features a walkable downtown, stunning riverfront views, and deep roots in creativity, having shaped talents like Charles Lindbergh, activist Frederick L. McGhee, Judy Garland, Suni Lee, Bob Dylan, and Prince.
How are you applying creativity in your practice? What pivots have you made in response to changing client needs or institutional challenges? What innovative services or partnerships have emerged from your work?
We encourage you to share your insights by submitting a conference proposal. The Call for Proposals closes October 7. Submit your session ideas for a chance to inspire and connect with career professionals from across the globe.
Let’s explore what creative resilience looks like — together — in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
