116TH CONGRESS 2D SESSION H. RES. #1239

Earlier this year, Mr. Jim Langevin was recognized with Mr. Thompson, co-chairs of the Congressional Career and Technical Education (CTE) Caucus and awarded the NCDA 2020 Legislative Award. They introduced the Counseling for Career Choice Act, bipartisan legislation that would make new investments in school counseling to better prepare students for educational and career opportunities.

Written in conjunction with the NCDA staff, Government Relations Committee, and D.C.-based lobbying firm LobbyIt, the resolution supports the mission of NCDA:

The National Career Development Association (NCDA) provides professional development, publications, standards, and advocacy to practitioners and educators who inspire and empower individuals to achieve their career and life goals.

Happy National Career Development Month!
