Professional Development

All NCDA CDF Instructors and those individuals who hold a Global Career Development Facilitator Credential are required to obtain 75 hours of Continuing Education during each 5-year certification period.

All Continuing Educations Units (CEUs) must relate to one of the 12 CDF Competencies. NCDA CDF Instructors will be audited at the end of their 5-year certification period by NCDA. GCDFs will be audited at the end of their 5-year certification period by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE).

NCDA Home Study Continuing Education Hours Offered Online

NCDA is proud to offer home study continuing education units online thru the Career Development Quarterly Journal and Experiential Activities For Teaching Career Counseling Classes & Facilitating Career Groups, Vol II.  For every upcoming CDQ Journal, you are now able to receive 4 hours of continuing education units by successfully completing an online assessment. For each designated activity of Experiential Activities Vol. II you complete you have the opportunity to earn 4 CEU credits for a total of 12 credits available. The CEU possibilities are endless!
