For over 10 years, I have served as the career services director in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota, where I manage career counseling services for a college of over 14,000 students. Previously, I worked in the Career Development Center at Indiana University. At the University of Minnesota, I am a past chair of the Career Development Network, which promotes collaboration between career professionals in all colleges on campus.

I am a past president and treasurer of the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA), and have served on MCDA's board for 6 years. During my year as president, our group was recognized with the Midwest Region State Division Award by NCDA. We have around 275 members and coordinate a spring conference, two annual half-day events, and several other programs throughout the year. I also was formerly an elected member of the directorate of ACPA's Career Development Commission.
